Within 30 seconds of being at Kempsey I had been death stared by a group of hood rats and heard some junkie screaming at her “de facto”. I was like “here we go”.
Upon arriving at the motel I was greeted by the sight of more junkies and ex-convicts, possibly buying their arm-vein fix. Kempsey has a reputation that so far did not proceed it. Due to the high population of cannabis users I could almost refer to as Hempsey.
HOWEVER…this motel did a little to rescue the image of this malnourished town. I was put in a room that was clean, tidy and had all the requirements I needed. The beds

Well kept motel and wonderful staff. Comfortable accommodation with basic needs and requirements met. Room service for breakfast with your usual selection. Would recommend for someone looking to stay somewhere. Would give 5 stars but the bathroom was a little worn, the outside security light is constantly on and off and the coffee in the room was terrible.

After recently fighting a fight with homelessness, Being placed here by support services. I can not express the amount of gratitude I have for this place and the owners. Absolutely stunning staff. They made me feel like I had a family. They are very very warm and welcoming. The rooms are stunningly clean and you can find everything so easy. Welcoming from all ages. You are so very close in town everything is walkable even big w if you need anything for little ones. I can not express my deepest thanks for everything they have done for me and my daughter in the past two nights. Anything I needed
