Winburndale Vineyard and Winery is family owned and run. Our boutique vineyard is located in the Central Ranges of NSW, near the town of Glanmire, and about 15 minutes east of Bathurst. The climate, landscape and slopes of this area allow us to produce ideal grapes and our handpicking and fermenting methods create the ideal wine with soft tannins.

It's a beautiful place for an outstanding vineyard. Our vineyards are in the perfect location for our wines. One where the coming together of all the factors such as climate, soil, landscape, temperature by day and night, rainfall distribution, sunlight, slopes and drainage react with each other to produce the ideal grape.

Accommodation Report

We have two cottages overlooking the vineyard and winery which can be booked via AirBnb. The cottages are fully self contained and guests can expect a peaceful stay in a beautiful location. Our Kangaroo and Goanna cottages each have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining and living room overlooking the vineyard.

Excellent. Very peaceful spot and great wine. The driveway in is dirt but drive slowly and see the wildlife out the windows. Well worth a visit. There is a verandah overlooking a nice dam where you can pause for a while or socialise with your family or friends. I love this place!

Went all the way down dirt roads past many winery signs to get to the end and it’s Closed for renovations! How about posting it here or showing the sign earlier.

We stopped by on our way to Orange. Mike is extremely knowledgable and it was a complete delight to spend a sunny afternoon listening to his adventures across the world. The wines are great as well, so all in all a great time

Very friendly , family winery! Interesting history of the place and the winery has a lot of awards. We came on Boxing Day , they were open and the owner organised special tasting for us! Recommend !!

On Sunday the 15th of June, we four friends from Sydney joined The Winter Winery Wander, that included a food and wine tasting at Winburndale Winery. What a wonderful experience. So well organised, with exceptional locally sourced food matching equally wonderful wines. All served in in a spectacular setting, by informative ,friendly staff. We agreed that we will be bringing more lucky friends to the event next year, and will certainly be ordering a mixed case of those lovely wines.Lucky Bathurst to have Winburndale Winery on your doorstep.

Fantastic reds. Concur with the Solitary Shiraz comment. FYI Winburndale also has a cellar door in Bathurst city - located within the Crago Mill Emporium down at railway end of Piper Street. Wine tastings available. They are opening a Tapas/Wine Bar venue at Crago Mill aprox October 2014.
