Taking care of people has always been Adele's path, when she started as a carer for the elderly and discovering the importance of preventative medicine. A twist of fate saw Adele venture into Chinese medicine, when she received a complimentary acupuncture treatment which changed her life.
After 4 years of studying acupuncture, Adele obtained the Australian qualifications and registered with AHPRA (Australian governing agency) and AACMA (professional membership).15 years on, Adele is a registered acupuncturist and owner of AcuBalance Acupuncture clinic. In 2021, Adele was voted by the board of directors to be the chair.

Acupuncture treatments are individually designed to suit you. The length of your acupuncture treatment and frequency of acupuncture treatments required will be unique to your presenting condition, your experienced acupuncturists can advise you during your treatment. Acupuncture treatment times vary, we suggest you allow approximately 60 minutes for an acupuncture treatment.

Cupping is an enjoyable treatment with opposite pressure to a massage. At AcuBalance Chermside cupping clinic, we generally use massage oil on the area first and then apply the glass cups one by one, checking in with you all the time to ensure you are comfortable. The glass cups are slowly slid across the area, stimulating the tight tissues.

Finally, relief from my back pain & foot pain.
The Acubalance clinic located in Chermside was easy to find, with plenty of parking available. The staff were very friendly & professional. It was clean, neat & tidy, a beautiful atmosphere for my acupuncture, cupping & massage treatment. I certainly will return to help maintain my health.

An absolute delight it is to be treated by such a knowledgeable and professional acupuncturist. Adele knows her stuff and is always accommodating to my needs. Each treatment leaves me feeling refreshed and relaxed.
