Everything was perfect for a family get together, 2x3 bedrooms, over the new year period. Apartments were clean with lots of kitchen equipment. The balcony size was terrific in room102 for eating together ( Tea gardens is a lovely quiet town with very limited eating opportunities, especially during covid).... the wonderful staff were very obliging in our dealings with them, thank you Drew, it was a pleasure to stay at the Boathouse. We will be back!

It was a great long stay. The service wea good and the apartment was clean. I could capture some beautiful sunrises and see the river from the apartment.
There are lots of places nearby to buy food or grab a coffee.
Drew, the manager, is a very nice and cooperative person and very responsive.
The place is highly recommended.

We had the "river view" room with two bedrooms. Overall it was comfortable enough. The dishwasher was broken and the bedroom balcony door leaked when it rained wetting the carpet. My wife woke up to a cockroach and freaked out. The kids liked the swimming pool with artificial "beach" which was mildly heated.

I was booked into the boathouse 1 month before my husband received some devastating medical news making it impossible for us to travel, when I cancelled the resort I was told that sorry but you still have to pay. This is unfair and really dismissive. I gave plenty of notice but they do not return calls or try to help.

Found the Boathouse Resort, location wise, to be in a terrific spot. Situated right on the river and a pleasant stroll from shops restaurants, pub and club. It was a nice place and had all the trimmings like pool gym BBQ area but the unit itself was a little worse for wear. There is a line between wear and tear and it's time to do some serious maintenance and maintenance time has come i feel. Not worth the money paid for but Tea Gardens itself is an absolute gem

On the positive side the unit (205) was relatively spacious, airy, clean and had ample kitchen utensils, pans and crockery. The balcony overlooking the pool was a bonus.
On the down side, they were supposed to text a code for us to obtain our key while socially distancing, but it never appeared. There were instructions for the toaster, but not the ceramic stovetop and oven, whose controls had been rubbed out of existence. If you wanted separate beds in the second bedroom, you had great difficulty reaching the wardrobe and window, and the free WiFi didn't make an appearance until we made a complaint
