I went in to Sports Marine to get a HIN number verified on a boat I bought interstate yesterday. It was all I needed to do before transporting it a long distance behind my car out of Adelaide. Peter and his team were just amazing. I was gobsmacked! Other than the HIN verification, they took amazing care of packing me up, tying down a really big awkward bimini making sure new number plates were screwed on tie down straps were on properly...WITH CARPET under them. They just did it all! I didn't ask them for any of it! They are absolute Stars! If you need a boat or anything related you won't do better

It was a very disappointing experience all round, If you are buying a second hand boat be very careful and make sure you thoroughly inspect the boat before purchase. It seems Sports Marine SA will only do what is legal required. Email communication below.

I refer to our phone conversation on Friday regarding damage I have found to the hull of the tinnie I purchased from Sports Marine.
I find in impossible that someone at Sports Marine didn’t know about the damage to the hull. I asked at the time of sale if there was anything wrong with the boat and you assured

I have older 5.4m fishing boat with a 75hp Honda that has hundreds of hours on it
The guys at Sports Marine have been fantastic in keeping me on the water over many years
I have bought a used trailer here and have had numerous repairs and motor services over many years I have no complaints regarding service nor workmanship. Interesting that the staff I have contact with never seem to leave.
I am writing this blog as consistent good performance should be rewarded

Had my lttle boat serviced at Sports Marine,, partly as I had purchased it from there..
I was given a rough estimate on cost for what was just general service. When it came
to picking up my boat, I got a rude awakening at the cost, which was nearly three times the
amount estimated. When I queried the charges, they said that's the cost, and more or less
take it or leave it. Even after I complained, the guy was not interested. I told the guy that
It was unreasonable to be told one thing and be whacked by exorbitant service charge.
I also spoke to the manager Peter, and expressed my disappointment
