StarLite Dance Academy was established in 2001 with the intention of providing fun and affordable dance classes. We introduce fitness, movement skills and creativity to children from the age of three upwards. There are weekly classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre which provide a friendly and fun-filled environment.
Classes are pressure-free with a strong emphasis on fun. There are no exams or competitions, however all students are given the chance to learn and develop basic performance skills throughout the year. Students are involved in an end of year concert, although participation is not compulsory. For many people the only time in their lives they have the opportunity to perform on stage is as a child in concerts such as ours.

Services
This class provides a basic introduction to dance and movement skills by combining simple ballet technique with funky jazz moves and fun games. Children have the opportunity to develop coordination and musicality skills as well as gain confidence in a friendly, imaginative and fun-filled environment.
Our open days give parents, friends and family the opportunity to watch our classes in action. They enable parents to see what their child has been learning, how they've improved and what it is they need to be working on at home. For all classes an Open day will occur at the end of Term 1. Little Stars, Beginner and Junior Dance Students will have an extra Open Day in Term 3, as will our Singing Students.
Students attend for 4 exciting days in the school holidays where we build a set, learn the songs, dances and script to a specific show and then perform in an exciting musical for our family and friends on the last day on the professional Stage in our Studio. Throughout the year, during the school holidays, we offer our School Holiday Workshops.
