The House of Healing was founded by Deborah Rugari in 1998, when through her own understanding of poor health, she saw the need for a Wholistic Centre. She wanted a soothing atmosphere where people would come to relax, renew their spirits and discover the true essences of themselves. Deborah wanted to organise talks, seminars and produce booklets to inform the public of the latest health issues.
Since 2000 The House of Healing has been Your Family Naturopathic and Medical Clinic. Our Practitioners pride themselves on taking a holistic approach with any of your health concerns. We incorporate natural therapies inclusive of Naturopathy, Clinical Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy and Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging.
Deborah has practiced as a Naturopath and Clinical Nutritionist since 1989. She holds a Post Graduate in Clinical Nutrition and is also a Reiki Master. Deborah's comprehensive training and attention to detail provides patients with the potential to achieve total health, harmony and balance; however required.
Jess Lawson has been a Naturopath since 2009 and has specialised as a Vega technician to Deborah Rugari since 2003. With her extensive knowledge of Nutrition and Herbal Medicine, Jess is passionate about assisting patients to achieve optimum health and wellbeing through natural methods. As a mother Jess has learnt the absolute importance of natural medicine and good nutrition.
Carla Davey is a Bioresonance Practitioner who has an incredible passion to assist people achieve optimal wellness. Throughout our life our bodies are exposed to different stresses, like toxins, pollutants, bacterias, radiation and more, putting our body's out of balance and overpowering the body's natural self healing mechanisms, which may be contributing to illness or chronic conditions.

Hard to find. Had a gift voucher which receptionist had no idea what to do with, insisted on me paying prior to my foot massage. She wasn't able to process my $50 voucher, fee was $60, so I paid the extra $10 and she said she would sort it with the manager whilst I had my foot massage which I was now late for!! After my 30minute foot massage, the receptionist informs me my voucher had expired and that I will have to pay the $50!!!!!! Issued in 2019 with 3 year expiry, unable to use last year due to Covid when I tried, still nowhere near expiry. I said I am not paying and walked out speechless,

Visiting the House of Healing has absolutely changed my life. Chronic migraines, gut issues, anxiety, lathergy, hormones and skin disorders all have been healed naturally with the knowledge and wisdom of Deborah and Jess. This absolutely works! One month in and there have been significant changes in me.
For a guy that works long hours and shift work I noticed more struggles in recovery, concentration and overall how i felt. Thanks to Deb Rugari and The House of Healing team , they have put me on a program where its changed/refreshed me.
I'm sleeping much better which for me is very important.
It still takes little bit of discipline to achieve some of the goals but its fairly easy.
I recommend The House of Healing for people that want change, feel younger, healthier..example would be people in the mining industry

I would like to share my successful experience of lymphatic drainage massage therapy at Bamboo Day Spa / House of Healing, Walkerville.
Prior to this treatment I was post pregnant 1 month. Before my pregnancy I was my goal weight and living a healthy & active lifestyle. Hence conceiving. Unfortunately I gained a lot of weight & fluid during my pregnancy alongside high blood pressure. This combination caused me to have borderline preeclampsia & therefore I was induced at 37 weeks. My hospital stay was a long week because of severe swelling in my legs. The treatment at the time was a waiting game

On receiving end of 2 MVA's with injuries and ongoing pain...UNTIL I went to the House of Healing at Walkerville and had Vega Testing. It is specific, detailed and extensive, determining what foods are causing inflammation in your body, hence resulting in pain. Grateful for their level of expertise. My personal experience, applied their advice and now pain free. 👐
