MAIT Industries provides innovative monitoring and irrigation control solutions that assist growers, horticulturists, turf managers and other water users and providers to improve their water management practices. The philosophy of MAIT's development is based on our agronomic and engineering background.
The development of the iNTELLiTROL technology, an integrated monitoring and irrigation control system (that readily interfaces to a wide range of sensor technolgies) was guided by what our clients told us they wanted. Careful consideration was given to all practical and technical issues during research and development.

MAIT Industries acknowledges the support and commitment of Ipswich City Council to the ongoing improvement of water management on their sports fields. We have used the data mostly to monitor moisture in the growing region and then only water as needed and with how much. Main advantages is water savings and Bowling Greens with consistent moisture content from one week to the next (excluding rain following irrigation).

LEVEL 6 water restrictions across South East Queensland requires owners and managers of sports fields to ensure efficient use of town water which has prompted Ipswich City Council to investigate an innovative moisture sensing system which may provide the perfect answer in the future.MATE (or is that MAIT?), you've got to admit the blokes and sheilas at Gympie Regional Council are on the ball when it comes to being up to date and water-wise.

AquaCheck offers a multi-depth, sub surface profiling capacitance probe that measures soil moisture and soil temperature from up to 6 depths (depending on the length of the probe). MAIT iNTELLiTROL is a cost-effective, flexible and upgradable monitoring and control system, giving you real-time, in-depth information.
PliFix is a synthetic grass implant used for marking and locating various underground assets as well as marking lines on sports fields. Once installed in the ground, PliFix helps to indicate buried objects (tanks, sprinklers, cables, sensors, etc), show ground hazards and mark out building sites, camp sites etc.
Becoming more efficient with your water management is not only about saving water. Applying the correct amount of water at the correct time increases crop quality and yield potential, reduces leaching of fertilisers, reduces crop stress and susceptibility to disease and pests and increases the long term sustainability and profitability of your enterprise.
