Standout hospitality and a great setting inside an old church. Host/owner and staff all genuinely friendly, passionate and accommodating and set the benchmark as far as I am concerned. Lunch and cocktails great also. We were accommodated without a booking on a busy new years weekend for lunch with no fuss at all and will be back on our next break. Thankyou and keep up the great work.

We had dinner here on 4th January 2022. We were a group of 12 people and we were really impressed with the great service, friendly staff and the quality of the meals is more than excellent. The price reflected… quality which was excellent. Children’s meals are good size portions. We highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a great dinner.

Everything we had was absolutely delicious!! The sticky date pudding was the star of the show, followed by the steak+prawn dish and truffle risotto.
We were there the evening of 19 Dec 2021, the kind man who served us was outstanding and gave us great food recommendations! Would love to visit again the next time we're in the area!

Great food and amazing service. Celebrated my birthday with friends here and the staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and welcoming. They stored and served our cake on a plate and provided candles (and asked everyone to sing happy birthday).
The food was delicious and portions were huge and great value for money. Definitely holds its title as the best bar/pub/restaurant in Phillip Island. Highly recommend the chicken parma, fried chicken, Jack Daniels ribs and loaded nachos!

Wow a jewel in the crown of Cowes. This cafe/restaurant is amazing, from the various areas to sit to the decor.
Staff are the best food service staff I have encountered in a long time. Very accommodating happy great nature of staff makes you feel like you have returned to a regular meeting space.
The food and drink are fantastic. The mind blowing space everywhere you look there is something eye catching! The atmospheres is electric I sat and watched it fill up quickly during a lunch time I am sure it will be heavily booked during dinner and holidays. Be sure to check it out when you visit Phillip

Meals were ok but not great. Service is very poor, for a place that tells you it's table service, that should mean you don't have to wait until you can catch a waiters eye to get them over to serve. When we paid, the waiter drop the change in my hand and turned away, no thank you, hope you had a good night, nothing.

Had a nice and relax dinner under the sun. The services are top of the line. The manager is super nice and helpful.
The food quality is amazing. Strong recommend the buttermilk chicken bites. Great entre to share between two. The dessert are huge.
Not only myself, the seagull also enjoy it very much.. 😂

One of the cutest & vintage places we have been to in Victoria! We booked for dinner and were met by a very friendly staff.
We ordered Rump & Prawns - 300g wagyu rump topped with creamy confit garlic prawns, broccolini, asparagus & creamy mashed potato; and Jack Ribs - 14hrs Charcoal smoked beef back ribs marinated in Jack Daniels & Chipotle Chili, onion rings, salad & Salsa verde.
Both were perfectly cooked. I ordered the steak medium-rare and that's exactly what I got. The Ribs were literally melting in our mouth!
And yes, the place is OLD! Built in 1933 as an Anglican Church... You will find

The most delicious food we've had, ordered the best buttermilk fried chicken, chicken nuggets, Prawns pasta and the yummiest Rump & Prawns dish I love love love. The service was great, was a bit quiet with a few other customers but it got packed pretty quickly. The food was so good, wanted to order more.

Holy Crap!!!!!!!!!! Cowes doesn't deserve such an incredible eatery!!! or does this venue make Cowes better as a holiday destination?? We were just down in Cowes for the MotoGP & I had just hopped off a motorcycle needing lunch. Boy was I in for a surprise. Lunch Chicken was incredible! So incredible I went back on Saturday night for dinner. Still just as amazing. So amazing, I had to have serious words with the Chef. He had ruined all other chicken dishes for me. He laughed when I told him I ordered the same thing because I dared not order anything else in case it was measured less on

My friends came from India for a visit in melbourne, so i took them to phillip island to show around. We went to cheeky goose for a lunch... it was busy because of long weekend..
They ordered southern fried chicken, lamb shanks, prawn chilli pasta. I ordered calamari salad, it was divine.. They also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. They loved phillip island and cheeky goose with cheeky and full of flavour food. We highly recommend this place. Service was also amazing. We felt welcomed at cheeky goose.
