As you may have guessed I am Alicia Birch, CEO and principal photographer of our boutique portrait studio - also in charge of baby cuddles, kids giggles and wiping up some goopy messes at times! What we love most about what we do (apart from making great friends along the way) is getting to know our clients and telling their family's story.

Which is great, I guess. I can't say I know because life sure has it's moments at times around here! There are days I wish for perfect but most days I will happily take the weird and wonderful that makes up my life. Maybe I am ever so slightly odd or I have a tendency to be a little more que sera about life and the ups and downs that go with it, so without further ado, here goes - my completely un-sanitised, no fairy floss, real "About Me"!
If you love gorgeous portraits, enjoy having personalised service and love the idea of decorating your home with custom photographs of your family, we might just be a great fit for you. When you call we will have a chat with you about what you are looking for to make your portraits just what you want, your idea's for your session, the products and services that we offer and our pricing.
Our pricing is made up of 2 components - the Session Fee and your Portrait Package selection. The Session Fee includes the time and creativity of the photographer, use of our extensive prop and backdrop collection, re-touching of your custom portraits. Our Portrait Packages include one Ready to Hang Art Mounted Wall Portrait and several Gift Prints in 810" and 68" sizes.
Our Newborn Portraits are done here in our Studio at Cranebrook and we are available for appointments Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 2pm. Generally, we photograph our newborns first thing in the morning - about 9.30am - we find they are usually at their very best and sleepiest about then.
We allow 3 hours for our Newborn sessions, we never rush, allow plenty of time for feeds and cuddles, and make sure that we provide a relaxed, stress free time while we create your newborn images.We like to advise our clients to make their Newborn Session appointment while still pregnant, we are generally booking approximately 6-8 weeks ahead for our Newborn Portraits.

Whether it is to celebrate a birthday, a new tooth or simply because they grow up so fast. Our sessions are done here in our studio at Cranebrook and are about an hour long. We tend to let our children dictate the terms a little bit - we like to give them a break to relax and have a snack to recharge the batteries and then move on to the next part of the session.

Another great year at Santa's Workshop this morning with my two boys, thanks Alicia, looking forward to seeing the photos because I know they will turn out great!
I would recommend Alicia Birch Photography to anybody who is looking for a photographer. Alicia's work is simply stunning and best of all her prices are affordable. My youngest son can not sit still for 5 seconds but Alicia always seems to capture the picture perfect moment.

My family just had our third baby shoot and Alicia is absolutely AMAZING!!

Always such a fun, relaxing environment when getting photos done at Alicia Birch Photography. We have been getting pics done with her for over 2 years now and have NEVER been disappointed and we will continue to ask Alicia to capture our families precious memories. Alicia always has a range of gorgeous photos to choose from when deciding on prints, and she provides a great choice of packages to suit any budget... You will never be disappointed with Alicia's work and I would (and do) recommend her to everybody!!!

As always, another wonderful photography experience with Alicia Birch Photography! This is the second year that my daughter has attended the Santa's Workshop, and this time was just as amazing as our last. Despite being an active toddler who had more interest in the blocks and giant Christmas Teddy bear than having her photo taken, Alicia still managed to get some gorgeous and amazing shots. After two wonderful Santa's Workshops, and an amazing Family photo shoot (dealing with four generations) I can not recommend Alicia Birch Photography enough to those looking for an amazing and talented photographer

We love Alicia Birch Photography and would recommend it to everyone!! We have had Santa's Workshop Photos for the last three years and they have been absolutely spectacular. Having these portraits and making them into our family Christmas cards has become a family tradition for us! Alicia is a pleasure to deal with and so patient with the little children.
