After a life devoted to teaching physical education and being involved in competitive athletics with a career highlight as Raelene Boyle's training partner for both the Moscow Olympics and the Brisbane Commonwealth Games, I began a career as a second hand furniture dealer in Prahran, selling eclectic and interesting pieces.
My business then evolved predominantly into new furniture specialising in the use of reclaimed Australian timber (RAT) to produce affordable, timeless pieces. This was way before terms such as sustainable living and renewable resources became cliches. In early 2009, I moved from the Melbourne suburb of Prahran to Murrumbeena.

Services
We specialize in recycled timber furniture but also have an eclectic mix of selected imports. Our Australian made range of dining tables, coffee tables, entertainment units, bedroom and occasional pieces are made from recycled timber in Melbourne. We have a large range of furniture designs on display in-store for sale, or we can custom make to suit your own design.

Mark was fantastic in helping me to find the perfect pieces (dining table, shelving unit and lamp) to suit my home, taste and needs. I was able to describe or show him which features I liked even if I had no specific idea of what I was looking for. He then was able to recommend various options which opened up a new world of possibilities and at the… same time completely ticking all my boxes. In particular, he really understood the limitations of furnishing a small flat with the warm textures and colours of recycled timber without making the room look crowded or cluttered.
