Services
Individualised: We will discuss your massage to determine your needs and preferences. For example, you might like a whole body massage but with focus on your neck and shoulders, or you may wish to have only your legs massaged. If you are unsure, we will work out together what will be the most beneficial for you.
Autumn is a lovely time for a massage at the Akeso studio: mist lifting gently from the trees in the nearby valley, light filtering onto the golden carpet and a comfortable, temperature-controlled studio. Step into a warm and peaceful room and be offered a seat. Speak with your therapist about what brings you for a massage and how you would like to feel after your treatment.

My nine-year-old son sees Sally for massage to help with pain management and anxiety. Sally is extremely gentle and very warm, and shows such care for him. She uses a very gentle touch, and leaves him his 'space' to relax his thoughts as well his body.
My son is refreshed by a session because it reminds him that not 'all' his body hurts - which is really good for his morale. He comes away not just relaxed, but also bright and happy. He says going to see Sally is 'loooovely' and is always asking when he's going again! Thanks Sally!

My wife and I visited Castlemaine for a long weekend recently. Whilst away we were both keen to get a massage. Sally is an excellent massage therapist: I wanted more of a deep tissue massage whereas my wife prefers more of a relaxation massage... both styles well within Sally's capability. Will definitely return for another massage next time we visit Castlemaine.

From the moment you walk in to Akeso Massage you feel the calmness and warmth that Sally has created in the studio. I found her to be very attentive as she spends time to listen to and discuss the most beneficial massage for my needs. Her technique feels gentle (but firm if you need) and flows nicely . She has a wonderful ability to relax and soothe your tired body!
I would highly recommend a visit to Sally at Akeso Massage.

Sally is a highly skilled massage practitioner. She's a great listener and takes the time to get to know your history and specific needs. She seems to have a great knowledge of physiology and therapeutic modalities, but she's also very clear about what she may or may not be able to achieve. A nurturing and intuitive masseuse. Highly recommended!

Sally listens intently if I have specific pain when attending her studio. I am elderly and have had much pain over the last decade with osteoarthritis and major operations. Sally has always helped me relax my muscles and my mind. Beautiful environment. A genuine, sweet person who truly listens! I highly recommend this caring massage therapist.

Sally is a truly talented practitioner, bringing that perfect mix of technique and intuition to give the very best massage. She is both highly professional and sensitive to the needs of the client. I have had a number of massages with her, often requesting a different area of focus for relaxation or muscle therapy. She is such a talented practitioner that her massages always leave me feeling refreshed and invigorated. I always feel that she delivers exactly what I need for that massage. Deeply grateful to have this talented therapist available!

I have a long term lower back and scapula issue (from being too much of a sports and 'adrenaline junkie' in my youth) which I now need to manage. Massage is very effective for me - provided I can find a good massage therapist. Sally is not only a good massage therapist - she is excellent! Sally is a highly skilled therapist with a solid technical understanding of the bodies' anatomy and bio-mechanics. Sally adds another layer of effectiveness however with her deeply intuitive approach. In only a few treatments, Sally provided me with more movement through my hip and shoulder than I'd had in over
