A great, safe, clean tattoo/piercing palor with professional, friendly, knowledgeable staff. I have done 99% of my tattoos and piercings here , including upsides and chage-overs + aftercare advice for the last 20 years and would not go to anyone else unless absolutely, utterly necessary. Highly, highly recommended.

Ill advice from tattoo artist who I let convince me to slightly change locations for what should have been a very simple tattoo. Was warned of rubbing on the ankle, however when I showed my other ankle (which has had no wear on that for the past 8 years), he was nonetheless adamant on going with a higher location just above.
If you’re unable to do the work, ask your fellow coworker do it for you instead.
Now have to book laser sessions, due to artist incompetence, in order to get the exact same tattoo only next time in my initially desired location. Will never come back. Would not recommend

Brunette girl at reception was extremely arrogant and told us we aren’t able to get a tattoo done on the day because they are fully booked and was making many many excuses:
“it’s too big”
“It will take too long” etc
She finished her shift within 15 minutes after we entered. SOUNDED LIKE SHE WANTED TO GO HOME!!!
Besides the rude encounter we were actually able to get what we wanted on the same day.
I don’t know where she came up with that information.
Artist done a great job, very happy.

Had my most recent piece completed here and it was wonderful. Logan was really helpful with bringing my vision to life and was awesome to talk to. I absolutely love the art he did. Artists like Logan are why I keep coming back to King Street Tattoo for more!

I've got 11 tattoos from England and the US, so I decided to get one in Australia. King Street Tattoo was a great experience from start to finish. I was greeted by a helpful host who helped me find an artist to do the work. Once we were on the same page, I laid back and let the work start while chatting with Brandon my artist. Before I knew it we were done and it cost less than I was expecting! Next time I'm in town I'll return and get another tat.

We had THREE appointments fall through with these guys - the first time, they claimed the appointment wasn't in the system so we rescheduled. The second time, they claimed the appointment wasn't at the time we scheduled it so we went home and planned to return at the appointment time. The third try.... the artist didn't show up.
We really wanted to love this place but when you take time off work and get let down after making plans, it's hard to go back.

This is the third time I've been here, and each time the service has been as friendly and fantastic as I could possibly expect!
I got hooked on their Friday the 13th sales (where pre-selected tattoos are all $50) and since then, Kings Street has been my only tattoo vendor! The people are all super friendly, and love sharing stories about their own body art. When I went in for my first one, they were excellent at soothing my nerves and making me feel more comfortable.

Located upstairs from Industrial Strength in Newtown, this unassuming tattoo parlour has a laid back feel to it. So much so, you wonder if it actually is one. That's until you hear the buzzing sound of the tattoo machine.
Behind the counter, I found a couple of people being tattooed by the artists with one of the artists asking if I needed help.
Browsing through each artist, they all had different styles, from Japanese to traditional sailor. It'll cost you about $170-$200 per hour, which is the standard price. Well worth it if you're wanting a large piece.
