That is why we provide inspections of our picturesque facility so that prospective customers can view our grounds & grill our friendly kennel & cattery staff. A short visit to Nathalia Boarding Kennels & Cattery can do much to allay fears and calm nerves. Indeed it is our mission to make sure that you feel 100% comfortable when booking your pets holiday with us.
The tail of a dog tells many tales (excuse the pun), but the one that the NBKC team aim for is the helicopter wag - this tells all (who care to listen), that the owner of the tail is happy, content and very pleased with life in general.

Services
She scratched their ears affectionately and asked of them; 'Why don't they see you as social creatures, rather than locking you in solitary confinement?' Maddy is 'fixer' by nature. She never shirked a challenge. She made up her mind instantly (as she is want to do) to provide a cure for this particular problem.
Nathalia Boarding Kennels and Cattery is a picturesque 1.42 hectare rural property. You will find us nestled among established trees alongside the winding bends of the scenic Broken Creek. We are approximately 2.5 hours (+) drive North from Melbourne (depending on where you live). To the southeast is Shepparton (approximately a half hour drive), another great place to visit.
We are a small family run business, so whilst we are never too far away from the phone, we prefer that you try to make contact with us during office hours. This includes contact via social media. All of our bookings are made online, more often than not you can find the answer to your question if you create an account, or re-visit your account and place a booking request into the system.
It is possibly true, and any sensible person would surely acknowledge, that agreements, by their very nature, are very DULL indeed. However, we hope that you will find ours a little less so. There are (currently) a number of relevant pages on our web-site that shape your understanding of our operations at Nathalia Boarding Kennels and Cattery.
This 'mixing' habit makes us extraordinarily different to 'traditional kennels'. We have described, at loving length (elsewhere in our web-site), the reasons why we prefer this methodology (when compared to our counterparts). We hope you have taken the time to read about it. If you don't want your pooch mixed, then you can pay for a private yard (if you must, and if there is one available).

Our boy absolutely loves going for a holiday to you guys ... gets excited in the car when he realises where he’s going and almost forgets to say bye when he leaps out of the car!! The cats and dogs get so much care that you know you don’t have to worry about them ... and Jock was asleep on the back seat as soon as he was buckled up ... snoring by the time we got to the gates and all the way home. Thanks heaps!! 🐾🐾

My malamute LOVES going to the Nathalia kennels, he actually gets really excited to go whenever they've had to come pick him up, he enjoys his times getting attention from the lovely carers and has loads of fun running around and playing with the other dogs. 100% recommend these kennels for your doggo🥰

My dog absolutely loves his doggy day care visits and he is a different dog now. Madness was a poor doggy socialiser who was hyper nervous and would NOT get in the car without cowering in fear. He now tries to get in the car every time I open it, and starts whimpering with excitement as we get to the final stretch of road leading to the kennels. Today he was even conflicted about coming home! The staff here are brilliant with all the dogs and managed not only my nervousness about him attending, but also Madness’s integration into being a member of the pack. Every dog should experience this

Our 18 month old kelpie attends doggy day care once a week and it is the highlight of his week. He is up bright and early Tuesday mornings, and is so excited to see Ash and the van pull up! He is treated so beautifully and cared for, he is always pooped afterward, when I pick him up I always get a run down of his day which I love. Mack has become a much better friend with all other dogs since he started attending especially because COVID effected his ability to socialise as a young pup. Thank you so much!

This place is more than impressive and will always be my #1 kennels. Tommy goes there for doge daycare and boarding. He comes back supper happy and tired from playing all day long with other doges. The service is super excellent. I was running late from work to pick up Tommy. David was happy to wait for me at my place with Tommy until I arrived.

Couldn't rate these guys highly enough. We'd taken our boy to a different kennel before and he didn't seem like himself when he got home. When we picked him up from here though, he was full of energy, bounding around the room, tail wagging. We love that he got social time with other dogs during the day then his own run at night, and he got a complimentary bath before we picked him up. We'll definitely be back again. Thanks so much!

The staff here are absolutely fabulous! We wanted to pick him up a day earlier which was fine and when we had car trouble they stayed back so we could pick him up after five. Our puppy looked fabulous, was tired out and came home with a gorgeous little bow on his collar (nice finishing touch!).
Would 100% recommend and we will be here again!
