Solar Wholesalers is the most trusted supplier and installer of solar panels in Adelaide and South Australia. We are also one of the oldest local solar businesses in SA. We originally started as Solar Schools Australia, installing solar systems on schools. We then moved into the residential market in 2008, and have completed over 8,000 solar jobs since.
In South Australia, grid-connect solar for your home is a no-brainer. You probably know that we have the most expensive power in the nation, but get this: South Australia also has the most expensive electricity in the world (source). Buying solar panels allows you to generate your own electricity from the sun.
Solar Wholesalers offer tailored solutions for solar and battery systems as well as retrofit battery installations for those who already have a solar system installed. We are a Tesla Certified Installer and a Sonnen Accredited Installer, and also offer products from BYD and LG. The South Australian government is currently offering a subsidy and low interest loan option to help pay for a home battery system and any new solar required.
We are ranked in the top 5 in Australia for systems 10kW and larger, number 1 in South Australia. Most of our commercial installations are around 30 to 40kW in size, with 40kW being the most popular. We have a range of options for our commercial solar systems from outright purchase to payment plans and Power Purchase Agreements.
Whether it be residential, commercial or ground mounted solar systems we handle everything from the quoting process right through to the final installation and after sales support. Solar Wholesalers have been installing more and more ground mounted solar systems each year, so in 2020 we decided to add a GAYK solar pile driving machine to our growing fleet of equipment, a very impressive machine!

Undoubtedly the best solar supply and installation team in SA. I’m a builder and followed the install of my Solar Edge/ Canadian Solar 24kw system from start to finish. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship from this team was A+ Would highly recommend.

Amazing service from start to finish, I would highly recommend Solar Wholesalers to anyone looking to install a system on there house. From the start the team here identify what you need without feeling like you are dealing with a sales pitch and provided a short turn around to install.
The team that come out to install your system work for Solar Wholesalers and are not sub contractors, they arrived and all of the team came and introduced themselves and communicated with you throughout the install.

Top notch company to deal with. Small enough to care and treat you like a person and big enough to do the job in a timely professional manner. Will only sell you what you truly need not sell what makes the most profit for them. No hesitation in recommending them. Honest advice from sales team and landed the perfect workhorse at a great price considering the quality hardware. 10kW Fronius inverter and Tier 1 Canadian panels. We're producing MUCH more than we consume which is awesome. The guys who came to do the install were all highly experienced and did a great job. My only warning would be to do some thought about where you will place the Fronius inverter because if you're home during the day and sensitive to noise, you might want to put the Fronius inverter away from bedrooms and living areas because it can get noisy when producing above 50% efficiency

Solar warehouse installed a 10Kw system on my house in late 2018 and I couldn't be happier! All.done and dusted in about 5 hours, all mess cleared, system and its online functionality explained and the tradies were excellent throughout. The system has been superb and we have yet to pay a power bill after 12 months of use!! I wouldnt hesitate in recommending the company, the install.crew and the products they use. The business is also a great supporter of sport in the local Adelaide Hils community which is how I came across them!
