Kununurra Kamper Hire was established in 2010, when the owners saw a growing demand for a camper trailer tough enough to withstand the roads and tracks of the Kimberley and that catered for eager travellers, keen to find those "hidden" Kimberley wonders.

At Kununurra Kamper Hire we provide affordable and fully equipped 4WD camper trailers and camping kits for people wanting to explore the beautiful Kimberley region. A fully equipped kitchen with a 2 burner gas stove, gas bottle, all crockery, cooking utensils and a 70L water tank. All of our camper trailers weigh 720kg, so are suitable if you are hiring a 4WD when you arrive in the Kimberley.

We just hired a camper trailer from Shelley at KKH. The Franklin is a basic soft top side fold camper that does the job. We hired a Hilux ute from Avis at the airport and never needed to carry anything in the back the trailer has so much storage space. We hired a 12V fridge but the socket did not work in the car so Shelly swapped it out the next day for us to another esky. Hint - get block ice at the service station rather than the usual ice blocks in a bag as it last much longer. Shelly also let us have an jerry can that fits onto the trailer but we never needed to use it. Nice to have the reassurance
