Our facilities include air conditioning, executive cubbies with their own yards, but best of all is the 3 acres of leash free park complete with dams. All pets are cared for by our cat and dog loving staff. Our services include individual or in-house dog training lessons with our qualified NDTF dog trainer, Susan Turner-Davis.

Susan Turner-Davis Equitation Science Dip. is the owner of Yass Riding School and principal coach. For many years Susan has been traumatised when observing the manner in which many horses were being treated and trained - actually that includes all animals, which in part lead her into coaching and training horses.
Here at Yass Riding School we welcome riders of all levels and disciplines to train with us and use our facilities. We regularly coach the disciplines of dressage, show jumping, cross country, pleasure riding, TREC and preparation for pony club certificates. We also coach Equi skills and of course, horse care and management.
Yass Pets is a companion boarding kennel - providing care for pets from Sydney to Melbourne and in between, where free group daily exercise is provided for all socialized dogs. We use premium pet foods and, when required, individual diets are easily catered for. An enclosed grassed play area is attached to the cattery for our visiting cats to stroll and play in.
Charlie is now the Head Teacher of our equine team. Charlie does everything from being our preferred horse for first time riders, lunge lesson for riders, jumping and going hunting to hounds. Charlie is Pally's best buddie until dinner time. Charlie also enjoys just tagging along with Pally and Susan, just strolling along without any gear on him, when they go out for a quiet hack.
For years psychologists all over the world, have researched how people learn, and thousands of scientific studies have been conducted to identify the way that people learn and how to teach them. The whole world has an education system for humans based on these scientific studies. The results of scientific studies of animal behaviour has produced proven information on how and what horses can learn, and how it is best to ethically teach them.
