Services
The story of Doree Embroidery and Screen Printing Services began in 1934 when Alfred James Macdonald (Mac) commenced trading as Doree Quick Mending Service. Established during the Great Depression, this new business offered garment services such as mending and embroidery, in a time when people tended to repair their clothes rather than buy new ones.
Chavani wears multiple hats as one of Doree's directors, accountant, and acting accounts manager. Her many responsibilities include preparation of month end accounts, quarterly and annual statutory submissions, invoicing, reconciliation, and maintaining a positive job culture and work place.
Qualifications including a Bachelor of Commerce (major in accounting, minors in business law and management), Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (GradDipCA), and a background as a financial analyst for a multinational corporation have been invaluable in steering the successful financial direction of Doree Embroidery.

Almost 90 - 95% of embroideries are 2D embroidery.
We pride ourselves on our workmanship, and whether you have designer garments requiring metallic colour threads, or corporate wear requiring the shiny prominence achieved by rayon thread, or industrial work-wear requiring the toughness that can handle the heavy wash using polyester thread, electrical tradesman requiring fire resistant thread, or simply general embroidery, with Doree you are sure to have your needs catered to with every order.

For smaller quantities, the majority of the cost involved for 2D embroidery is setting up the logo and preparing it for a computerised embroidery machine to read. At Doree, we have carefully handpicked and prepared some designs that can be used without having to pay for the set up. You can select from a wide variety of designs, and standard text can be added to the design at no extra charge.

This was the most terrible experience. Ordered embroidery with the promise it would be ready on time and shipped to arrive same week with courier. The week came and went - no order. Continual phone calls resulted in order not being shipped - deadline missed and product still missing. No excuse given than understaffed, overworked and busy. Simply not acceptable.
