Services
Do NOT wear anything with extra pockets, belt or zippers. For Muay Thai or Kickboxing wear T-shirt and shorts and If you have boxing gloves you could bring them along. If you have ear rings, jewellery, watch or exposed piercings please remove them prior to training to avoid injuries. Don't worry if you don't get the exercises right, nobody does on their first day, it will take some practice.
Yes, we have fundamental classes covering the basics of BJJ. The Thai Boxing and MMA classes are open to all and students will be grouped based on their skill level. Ortiz Martial Arts Academy is the perfect place to begin your journey. The instructors are friendly and caring, the students hold no ego, the establishment is professional and probably one of the best in NSW.

Ortiz Martial Arts Academy is excellent. The brazilian jiu jitsu instructor has a sound understanding of how to relate brazilian jiu jitsu to every day defence situations, as well as offering Muay Thai and Mixed Martial arts to accompany this.
Classes are offered every day, and based in Mona Vale, Sydney northern beaches, the location for me was ideal. I found everyone at the gym to be very helpful, and I have made a lot of new friends. The company is family run so you aren't treated like just another number coming through the door.
