We are able to perform a wide range of routine, elective and emergency surgical procedures in our clinic. Occasionally your pet may need amore advanced surgical procedure, where referral to a specialist will be recommended. This is generally limited to complex orthopaedic procedures. Surgery for your pet involves everything from preparation for surgery, right through to home care following surgery.
Mouse numbers are high, and unfortunately we see many pets that are accidentally poisoned by their otherwise very caring owners. Never say never when it comes to our pets gaining access to and eating rodent poison! Some dogs can get anxious and frightened in thunderstorms and during fireworks. They can bark, wince, get clingy and have known to walk around nervously panting and have toilet accidents.

Lauren joined the clinic as a Tafe student in 2012 studying her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing, where she then went on to become full time in 2013. Lauren has a great love for all animals, but particularly has a special spot for dogs and rats. Lauren currently has two Labradors. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her loved ones and enjoys activities such as fishing and kicking back watching the footy.
Many diseases we come across in pets require laboratory investigations and other diagnostic testing for us to reach a diagnosis. Tests such as blood and urine tests, xrays, ultrasound and many more give us valuable information about the function of certain organs and body systems in the face of illness that allow us to reach a diagnosis and therefore be able to offer the most appropriate treatment.

Well, it seems I am the unlucky one as every other review seems to be 5 stars. I called 2 days ago to ask for a quote for a service and was told they couldn't give one and whilst trying to explain many different issues and situations the woman kept interrupting and was very sarcastic. Then today, whilst having my mot done, she called about some lights that needed changing, I explained they where in the glove compartment, she replied with more sarcasm, then said I'd be charged to fit them, I then asked why, then she replied "oh we'll just fit them for you" then charge me £25 for what would have

Hard to believe we nearly lost our beautiful little Dixie last Sunday due to complications having her babies. To see her less than a week later raising her surviving puppies so fat & happy. Duncan is the most caring vet I have ever met he doesn’t just rush you out the door after treating your pet he is very passionate and caring about every animal he treats we had to say good bye to our girl and he was so passionate and caring along with the rest of his caring and loving staff would not go to anyone else

I would like to personal thank all the staff members down at Duncan for the support and care that they gave my boy Spinner during his life, nothing was to hard and the support that I was giving was amazing. It is still one of the hardest decisions I have made by say good bye but the way the staff and the quite room is set up let’s you say good bye… in the nicest and it feel like you at home just cuddling them.
