Lee Farmstay was born in 2005, when the dairy and beef industries proved challengingand it was decided it would be a good decision to start up a farmstay because it would be a good idea to have a stable income and get city people to experience life on the farm. There are many ways to spend your time during your stay with us.
Go for a stroll or cycle around the farm, try to catch a fish in the dam (you'll need to bring your own fishing supplies), play with and feed the animals or play board games. We have a sauna to sweat out the toxins and stress of city living. We also have a trampoline and swing set for children or the young at heart.

Services
Our cottages are ideal for those wanting to escape the hussle and bussle of city living, for families (especially those with small children who'd love to spend time with farm animals) and also as a couples getaway. Four cottages are available, each have a luxurious spa bath and great views of the farm and are spaced apart for privacy.
The Queenslander is a larger accommodation choice, housing 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living area and ideal for larger groups and families. Bedroom one offers a king-sized bed, an en-suite with a single jet spa and built-in cupboards. The second bedroom offers a queen bed with built-in cupboards, while the final bedroom has two double bunk beds and sleeps four people.
I've stayed at Lee Farm Stay cottages five times in recent years, the most recently last week. Sometimes I've been there for work as a writer's retreat and sometimes for relaxation. At all times I've found the cottages clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Host Gavina has an eye for detail. The kitchen has a fridge, hot plates and microwave.

Fabulous trip! Has everything you could possibly need in the cottage. Wonderful environment for kids with so much to do. Comfortable, clean and well thought out accommodation. Gavina was lovely to deal with and was great with the kids at animal feeding time.
We loved it and are thinking about our trip back next year.

Absolutely great long weekend. We spent 3 nights here, and really enjoyed the quiet, the beautiful breeze and the chance to relax. The kids loved feeding the animals every morning & afternoon with Gavina. They enjoyed playing with the miniature goats the most. There was so many different animals - ponies, chickens, ducks, turkeys, alpacas, sheep, goats, peacocks, guinea pigs, dogs and cows. The cottage was comfortable and roomy for our family of 5. The township of Kingaroy was only 12min car trip too. We really loved it and will be back.

Such an amazing experience to have, we love animals and wanted our daughter to experience a little bit of farm life and what other animals are out there in the world. Cottage was lovely to stay in, bed was comfy and warm. We ordered the breakfast hampers and they were absolutely delicious (fresh farm eggs and freshly squeezed OJ!) Gavina was a lovely host, we will definitely be back here again.

I wouldn't stay there myself, plus didn't feel clean and there is no ovens in the cabins a bit odd. The pool is in front of the main house which is odd and ower was a bit rude. Cabins maybe unsafe for kids and the elderly in winter if firer places are in use. Plus have to pay for your own fire wood so your stay could become costly.
