I have been a hair and make-up stylist for 20 years and have been servicing the Port Douglas, Palm Cove, Cairns, Daintree and the Atherton Tablelands areas as a freelance artist for over 10 years. Camel was originally trained in Brisbane CBD before moving to North Queensland.

As a mobile service, they come to you, knowing time is of the essence on your special day, whether it be the wedding of your dreams, your graduation, formal, a photo shoot, social outings or corporate events, Carmel and her team have your best interests at heart.
High Definition (HD) makeup, matte, mineral, natural, shimmer, smokey and glam - but we are not limited to this in any way - we are make-up creators!. Our techniques include contour, baking and highlighting on appropriate areas of your face and body and across all skin types and tones. We offer a customised consultation with a view of having you flawless and comfortable for your special event.
We can create any hair styling creation with excellence, from any picture you choose. Whether it's from Pinterest, our own Instagram or Facebook photos of work we have previously completed or something you have found on Google of your own, rest assured we are designing artists that create hundreds of special event hairs a year.
Waxing - Avoid having any facial waxing within 5 days of your event, please ensure it's done at least a week before as freshly waxed faces find it hard to hold makeup especially in our humidity (we are obsessed with knowing our climate) But make sure your waxing gets done, with time for your skin to spring back!.
Our brides and their bridal party are welcome to a tanning package, please speak with Carmel about tailoring this package for you and your loved ones. Group tanning is available in Port Douglas at the comfort of your accommodation with a minimum of three adults in order to organise group tanning, please contact Carmel to find out more information about tanning packages.

The beauty therapist I'd been seeing for years has recently moved to Think Aesthetics and I could not be happier with the service I am receiving, not only from my therapist, Jess but from all the staff.
