At TWO BIRDS, our menu is seasonally adjusted to provide you with the freshest of ingredients, and we are mindful of our foot print on the planet at all times by sourcing our produce and supplies from the most ethical and sustainable producers around. We use as much recycled, organic, local and sustainable product as we can.
Our eggs come from the bums of happy, free-range chooks, our bread is all organic, our honey is natural and non heat treated and our fruit & veg is only sourced outside our local area if absolutely necessary. For years, Two Birds Caf has been the local corner shop tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Smith Street, offering residents and office-goers of Collingwood a quick coffee and take-away menu.

Nice atmosphere and Friendly Staff. All the Covid procedures followed. Food was generally good, although a lot of option to improve. Probably will start with the bread. Coffee was great. Saw they allowed dogs in ( at least for take away orders, which was nice). Overall a good local for the Collingwoodians :)

Okay, honest review here. As you can see the two hot beverages that we were served look inviting and cozy - I can’t say the same about the service we received. Yes, we walked in at 3PM but google said that this cafe closes at 4pm, so we thought surely that’s enough time for a quick coffee and cake? Instead we felt like we were being rushed out. Anyway, I may not have been so salty about the service if the cakes were nice, but they weren’t warmed up and the banana bread was really dry. Might give this place another go in future, perhaps not one hour before close..

Great brunch and open over the Christmas/ new years period when few cafes are. Beautiful decor and plenty of near by parking. Coffee was nice, probably a bit on the darker side of the roast. Didnt catch a glimpse of the beans being used. They used Bonsoy soy and almond milk... I prefer MilkLab, so that impacted the flavour of the coffee a bit. The Kefir Lime Crumbed eggs were nice and cooked beautifully. Good flavor at every bite and the right amount of acid. Good portion too... not too small not too big. The Fish Burrito was also very fresh and didnt feel too heavy. Could have used a little extra

Lovely interior design, comfortable space wether you want to do some work or read a book, very peaceful and sunny. I ordered the nourish bowl and it was delicious! Good amount of food and plenty of options to choose from, the coffee is great as well. I didn't get a single even tiny smile from the staff, the waitresses seem a bit rude, hopefully they were just a little bit distracted. That sadly changes the whole experience.
