Empowering those with dental fears and special health needs to achieve life-long oral health. The field of Special Needs Dentistry is still relatively new in Australia and often patients and their families are not aware of the treatment that could be available to them. At Mind Body Teeth we believe excellent oral health, a nice smile and pain-free chewing function should belong to everyone.

Dental care for those with special health needs is often deemed as "too difficult". Caring for someone with dental anxiety or additional needs requires compassion, patience and a unique skillset. A dental specialist is a dentist who has completed a three year postgraduate Clinical Doctorate in their chosen field in addition to the basic dental degree.

Dr Karve is an exceptional dentist. I am terrified of needles and therefore dental work; but Dr Karve put me at ease and was very supportive throughout my treatment. She explained the procedure so I knew what to expect and her manner is very calm and approachable.

Dr Karve has been treating our 31 year old daughter with complex disabilities for many years. She has treated our daughter under general anesthetics for major dental work. She is highly skilled and provides oerson oriented treatment with compassion. Very highly recommend Dr Karve as special needs dentist.

Was just treated by Dr Karve. Amazing service and skillset to match. I don't know if it was the latest in dental technology but I never felt the needle, could hardly hear the drill and was in and out in 30 minutes. I also fell a sleep on the chair!
Great dentist and great location.
