Such a fantastic experience with Port Douglas Car Hire. They were very helpful over the phone with the booking process and pick up and drop off was extremely smooth. I rented the Jeep for one day to head up the coast and it was very comfortable, and although the price was a little bit more than I was hoping for, demand is very high at the moment so it is to be expected. In these challenging times it’s nice to see people supporting small business with a nice attitude, friendly manners, and a little bit of patience. I really hope that everyone supports Port Douglas, including this great business

Poor experience trying to get basic information. I had some questions about the quote sent via email and called up the office. Instead of assisting me with the information, I was told to book through the website. I tried to explain that I had already done so and want to qurie the quote emailed. The operator then told me that she had to go as she had other customers. I hope there are other Car Hire places in Port Douglas.

The only way you should drive through the Daintree is in Port Douglas Car Hire's convertible mustang with the roof down and wind in your hair. Very friendly staff, super accommodating hassle free service. Myself and my partner thank you guys so much for the experience you have provided with a bucket list birthday present for my fiancé. Definitely recommend and will be back for sure!

Amazing service. great prices and reliable cars offered to us. We simply wanted to hire a car and we got a great car for us with affordable prices. It was clean and we couldn't find any problems with it. I think that these folks were just great to talk with and the contract was quick and easy. We couldn't fault these people. We were instantly greeted with great customer service as soon as we entered the office. These are the first people that come to mind when I think of car hires. Would undoubtedly recommend these people to anyone visiting this place as they offer a wide range of local knowledge

Wonderful service. I hired a car at short notice and they were able to accommodate. The lady was so helpful and provided a map an suggestions of places to see. Car was clean and easy to drive. No hassles on return - easy after hours return service as well. Will definitely hire from them if I'm back in Port Douglas.

Myself John and my wife hired a small hatch back MG3 from this great little business in Port Douglas. The car was new and smooth to drive. Gagan ,the lady who helped us in booking this car was incredibly professional , full of knowledge and she answered all my queries on the spot . Her customer service skills were top notch. Many many thanks to Port Douglas Car Rental for giving us an amazing experience. We will be definitely coming back next year and recommend others to use this car rental company.

Port Douglas Car Hire is a great example of good customer service.
We were looking around on the internet for some good car hire deal but we were not expecting to find anything because of the busy time. But to my surprise Port Douglas Car Hire filled the booking form for us with short notice and we were able to pick up the car next morning at 8:30am as we discussed on the phone last night. We were given a brand new MG ZS which was in pristine condition and even better, we were the first hirers! This was the best thing that my wife could have possibly asked for her anniversary.
