The Eureka Tavern offers family friendly bistro dining at House of Schnitzel. We have a delicious menu featuring an extensive mouth-watering selection of schnitzels to satisfy even the fussiest taste buds. Our menu includes char-grilled Graziers steaks, a selection of seafood, and all your favourite pub fare.
We have been serving locals for years and we continue to pride ourselves on having something for every taste. If you're grabbing a bite to eat, match your meal with a local or imported drop from our extensive wine, beer or spirit list in our Bistro Bar. We wouldn't be a local favourite if our Sports Bar wasn't the go-to for a quiet drink or a catch up with friends.
We strive to be at the heart of our local community by providing a place for friends to meet, for families to relax and to host local functions and events. We are the unofficial 'clubhouse' for a number of local sporting teams - a place to re-convene after matches, sell raffle tickets, celebrate victories and commiserate losses.

Had a few late night knock offs here after work and was super happy with the late (4:15am) last call for drinks, gave me plenty of time to enjoy a few cold beers and have a punt at such an ungodly hour.
On this particular warm night, there was a good, fun, loud but respectable vibe throughout the gaming room and staff were keeping the room regularly sanitised and tidy.

Had a private function there last night and feel so sorry for my sister in law
The food once it finally came out two hours later and once the staff found the right table was terrible food was over cooked cold over priced
The drink were even worse very overpriced made a big mental note to never book a private function there

Having been before I was expecting the same pleasant dining experience we had enjoyed on previous occasions.
Let's start with booking. For a party of 19, my daughter in law was told that she didn't have to pay the $50 deposit as she just scraped in under the 20 people rule. She was then contacted by someone else and told that she had to pay the deposit. That got sorted much to the hotel's chagrin.
Upon arrival tonight, we were waved in the general direction of our table by a rather annoyed lady. The table was not fully set and we had to ask for menus.

This is a hidden gem in Salisbury - we have never dreamed of going here due to location (sadly!) and we had to go here for a birthday party and were so suprised!
They had a deal for buy one get one free lunch at the time (for everyone) so it was a very cheap event.
They are called "House of Schnitzel" and they have heaps of schnitzel toppings and 3 different schnitzel sizes. Mini Midi and Maxi. You pick your size and then the topping (I.e. Nachos or meatballs)
They had a vegetarian option for me, which was the eggplant schnitz, and we got to add a topping to that as well (Avocado

Okay, you might be wondering why on Earth did I ever go to this pub considering that it is in Salisbury, and this place did have a reputation. Well, since it is right next to the railway station, and is on my way home, then it was the obvious choice for me if I wanted to have a beer. Anyway, for a while it was actually a really quite place.
