In a group, -
2 people did not get their food & were refused a refund. Got a refund after an argument as they left.
1 person ordered chicken schnitzel & it was still frozen on the bottom- sent back.
1 person ordered steak & whole meal was cold.
A few ordered fisherman's basket - got 2 small pieces of fish, 2 prawns, & a plate of chips.
No-one was happy with their meal & we as a group will not be eating here again.

Always a nice lunch with a simple menu and competitive prices. The only issue is their background music which is far too loud making conversation difficult. It was initially turned down on request but it crept up again. Meals are about conversation with friends. It is not a musical appreciation event. What about no music for a change?

Good vibe, let down by terrible food.
The bar staff are friendly, they put on good events like quiz and jag the joker. Sadly, they are let down by having consistently low quality and disgusting pub food.
The parmi had the texture and taste of slime, the beef and Guinness pie was dry and flavourless, the meat in the brisket burger tasted rancid, my friend was actually sick after eating the nasty goreng!
If the kitchen lifted their game this place would be so much better. They also have a poor selection of beers on tap.

Decent pub food which I enjoyed so can't go wrong with that. What irked me was the customer service at the bar, where the man multiple times said "don't worry she's been tended to, who's next" multiple times when I'm right at the front and I haven't been served and I haven't given my order. I was just taking aback, I guess it was a busy period or a bad day but it was still not welcome.

The Mt Henry Tavern is a great family friendly pub that have some of the best cooked counter meals or dining and are priced well below what you'd expect from such nice food. The atmosphere is laid back with not a hint of aggravation from staff or patrons and the staff are polite, friendly and helpful in every way. Great time had by all.
