Contributory Aged Parent Visa Subclass 884 is a temporary visa suitable for the parent or parents of a child who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen who is settled in Australia. If granted, this visa will allow your parents to stay in Australia for 2 years. The visa period starts on the date the visa is granted.
Carer visa subclass 116 is a permanent visa granted to relatives outside Australia that are able to provide ongoing substantial care for their sponsoring relative in Australia, who needs support due to permanent medical conditions. You can include members of the family unit in your application when you apply.
