I understand it is Covid and you only have 10 people at a time.
However to be told that I couldn't make a table booking for 2 people was, I felt rude.
I was actually working and was bringing a client up to Beechworth for a coffee and cake.
Hence the booking, as I need to travel to get there. So we are not coming.

Went in here after reading the menu at the door & decided to order an Italian platter & ploughmans lunch, told the lady what I wanted & she replied I couldn’t have it due to covid, I asked what could I have & she just pointed at the few pies, so with that we went to the Beechworth Bakery. The Beechworth Pantry missed out on possibly a sale of around $62 then drinks, we won’t even bother trying them next time we’re in town

Wow, just wow. After requesting a specific table, I made an order and then my table was just given to someone else. No apology or anything and I wasn’t impressed but I just moved to another table. Then this man came over (I think he was the owner) and started randomly moving the table I was at while making some seriously sarcastic comments about me. I couldn’t believe it, the audacity of this man/owner to speak to a customer like that. He was incredibly rude and belligerent. It was the worst customer experience I've ever had. I asked for my money back and left. If I could rate the Beechworth

Our family went to the Beechworth Pantry this afternoon for a Christmas catchup it was nearing closing time. We were not rushed, service was friendly, we were all happy with our food choices, the coffee was great and so was the Chia tea. We sat, ate and chatted, it was very relaxed. We will go again.

This is an exceptional cafe with home made food & cakes. I love the pots of tea served here. Because with your pot you get another one with hot water, so if you like have another pot 🙂. I always love taking nan here when I visit. Plus I’m a bit paschal to the passion fruit sponge cake with cream ( fresh ) in the middle 😋. The owner dose all the home baking herself. Try the fresh salad sandwich or fresh salad with a quiche. Love going to The Pantry, Beechworth 😍.
