At Murrumbidgee Allied Health Services (MAHS) we have experience working with children and adults across a range of settings. We work differently to other clinicians and focus on supporting our clients to achieve functional outcomes in familiar environments. We work with people in their homes, schools, and communities.
We know from experience that working closely with our clients and the important people in their lives supports them to achieve positive outcomes. We mostly work with people who have access to funding - through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), iCare Lifetime Care, or the Transport Accident Commission (TAC).

Services
Did you know that Speech Pathologists do more than help people talk? We also help people to use assistive technology, swallow safely, and learn social communication skills. We value an individualised approach to communication, and recognise AAC as a complex area of specialty. We understand and implement low tech, mid tech and high tech AAC systems.
Did you know that dietitians do more than just help people lose weight? We also help people understand how nutrition impacts their bodies including changes in appetite, stomach and gut issues, difficulties with mealtimes, weight-related issues, as well as tube feeding and supplements. We recognise that mealtimes are not safe and enjoyable for everyone, and can sometimes be uncomfortable or painful.
Psychologists help people improve their social, emotional and mental wellbeing. At MAHS, we promote wellness and support people to build capacity to manage their current difficulties. Our psychologists can support people across areas of interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and regulation, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and adjustment to major life changes.
We are looking for motivated Allied Health Practitioners who are passionate about evidence-based, ethical practice. We love to work with clinicians who will grow with MAHS and collaborate with our clinical team and with the broader community.
