Not sure how this place is rated so well. Stayed here for 1 night as part of a business conference. Could not get any sleep as the smoke alarm in my room (and in the rest of the building I was in) kept going off every 30 mins - 1 hour from 2am - 8am. The roof was too high (3-4 metres) to press the silence button on the smoke alarm. Saw a guy the next day walking around with a massive pole to hit the silence button, but maybe it might be worth replacing them rather than only having a temporary fix? (i.e. the next person that will stay in that room will also get no sleep) Apart from that, the heater

Grate place to stay
Room was comfortable
View sitting on the veranda was amazing
We chilled and drank completely Red wine
Ghost tour was disappointing. To many people very rush. Our tour guide was always trying to avoid other tours.
There were that meant tours running it just like being on a production like.
Breakfast was ok nice buffet.

Amazing place! I Loved the history behind it; the landscape, the ghost tour and the food in the restaurant. The ghost tour was very exciting and with surprises, my wife got a little pebble thrown at her from nowhere. Additional, it has a Great customer service and it was a great experience to pass the night there. In simple words, if you're interested in history, Ghost tours and great service, don't miss out on this great place.

Went for a lovely walk with family. Suitable for people of all ages, however, great for kids if you want to walk around the station. Plenty of places to stop and tour, and lots of views to sightsee over the harbour. Lots of places to eat at around the place. Accommodations look nice and clean, and also house vending machines nearby as a quicker, cheaper alternative. Overall, great place to spend the day, and entry is free. ☺️

Although my group didn't experience anything paranormal, as such, there was definitely a very creepy vibe throughout our tour and stay at the Q station.
It's a truly unique and hauntingly beautiful (literally) destination, with a rich and frightening history, beautiful views and iconic wildlife and flora.
Our guide was very good with a wealth of knowledge and experience of the area and the paranormal. He had some very creepy stories to share and gave us a very authentic experience - this is not some haunted house attraction at a carnival, after all.

Quarantine Station is a tourist attraction with great history and operated all the way back from 1832. I actually took a ghost tour which was quiet an experience! Had a great tour guide and some great scares. Q Station is reputed to be one of Australia's most haunted sites. Q Station is located at North Head on the shores of Sydney Harbor in Manly, Australia. It has amazing views overlooking the Sydney Harbor and the skyline of Sydney which looks really cool especially looking at the night lights when it's dark. You can jump on a ferry and get away from the busy city from Circular Quay

Beyond frustrated with the horrible service and the clueless people who work here. We waited an hour for our ferry. Five minutes before we were set to catch our boat, we saw the Manly Ferry leaving the dock. Evidently, one must wait at the end of the long dock waving and screaming for the ferry to actually stop. I'd sort of understand if we arrived even a minute late, but that was not the case. The idiot who works in the cafe said "this happens everyday." Really genius? Hmm, you might want to consider putting a sign in the cafe where everybody waits informing them of this asinine

Definitely 2 star facilities. We have found ourselves staying here for 5 days and it is not as advertised. The staff are pleasant but the retreat is understaffed. We attempted to rent canoes and snorkeling equipment as advertised however no one was at the desk. After eventually finding a staff member I was informed that no one could help me for a further 2 hours because the only qualified staff member was giving tours, Incredibly frustrating. The breakfast buffet was expensive and not maintained. More like a campsite. I resorted to eating my cereal with a fork because they had no clean spoons and

Q Station Retreat is the Accor hotel refurbishment of the former North Head Quarantine Station in Manly. I hear they run ghost tours of the place, which I put out of my mind when we came to stay with the whole family for a wedding.
There were a lot of us - so we booked up several of the 3 bedroom cottages. It's worth noting that although you can sleep 6 adults in the place, they will only allow 1 car per cottage, which is a massive pain when trying to organise everyone and their small children. They do have a shuttle bus to help with transferring around your luggage, but it's not ideal
