The following story illustrates how a simple change in your gardener's job description can help owners and body corporates avoid large and costly repairs. For the last 15 years I have been attempting to teach people about the importance of the health of the soil for their garden's health. Have drought, storms, pests, or diseases impacted the health and appearance of your garden? Have you just bought a property with an existing garden and need advice on how to manage it? Philip will come to your garden ( usually takes about an hour ) and answer your questions and concerns. He will draw on his years of experience as a horticulturist and advise you on safe and sustainable methods to achieve a great result.
Call us when your garden has got out of hand and you need help to clean up, repair and revive it. We will help you with uneven paving, pruning and hedging overgrown trees and shrubs, remulching and feeding, disease and pest control, really anything to do with your garden. So often we find that garden decline is related to soils becoming depleted and out of balance.

For the last 15 years I have been attempting to teach people about the importance of the health of the soil for their garden's health. I just watched an episode of gourmet farmer on SBS tv which graphically illustrated the point.

On the show Matthew enlists the help of a soil scientist to assess the condition of his soil and then with her help he adds beneficial microbes and soil conditioners to one garden bed and leaves another with just standard preparation.Various vegetables are then grown simultaneously in both beds and harvested at the same time.
