Our menu takes inspiration from local suppliers with a selection of fresh seafood, succulent steaks, wholesome pasta and all the pub favourites you know and love.
The Plaza Tavern is ideally located less than 30 minutes from Melbourne and has been specifically designed to celebrate entertainment and social gatherings. We offer four unique event spaces that are perfect for every occasion, including two spacious function rooms: The Manhattan Ballroom, and the Sidecar Lounge & Boardroom.
Is there anything better than live music? We don't think so! We're dedicated to bringing the best local and international acts to the Plaza Tavern for you to see, live and loud. We're constantly working to ensure we have a stacked lineup, and love announcing the latest artist to leave their mark on our Avenue Bar stage.
We strive to be at the heart of our local community by providing a place for friends to meet, for families to relax and to host local functions and events. We are the unofficial 'clubhouse' for a number of local sporting teams - a place to re-convene after matches, sell raffle tickets, celebrate victories and commiserate losses.

We visit the tavern as our Friday night catch up and every single time we have come the food has been exceptional and the service has always been the best. We get looked after as we have become regulars and now it’s something we look forward to, to start off the weekend. Aimee and Liza were particularly great tonight making us feel welcome and their service was 5 star thank you ladies. Good service is not standard practice anymore unfortunately but I can honestly say we definitely have a great experience when we come to your restaurant. Went for dinner Saturday night 7pm 11/12/21. Encounterd a manager with a cip on her shoulder. Orders a chicken Caessr, burger and a steak meal. It was not busy. Food came out at different times. No chicken in the chicken caesar, went back to front desk to query it, was asked did you order it! No apologies, was told it would come out in 5mins, waited 20 minutes and had to ask for it again, the rest of the table had finished eating and then it came out warm. Today at 12 30 we went in for lunch shown our table the young waitress came over and said we have to order via the phone We said can we get a menu and she said sorry my manager wont allow me to hand them out to anyone and wants everyone to use the phone app, The waitress showed us how to use it and kept saying how sorry she was we said it is not your fault .We like an option of phone or counter service We like to look at the menu and see what we want not be told we have no option. We are elderly people and this can be very daunting on us.The poor waitress was only doing what she was told.We said

Good quick service, not overly crowded. Food was fresh and well presented. We had pork ribs the meat fell off the bones yum and Parma ( it was smaller portion but the breast was very thick, so still filling and tasty) it was brought out quickly. Have returned again and tried different things from the menu each time good service and good food.recommended for families, couples, groups and dining alone.

Worst service I have ever received before. Not only were our meals late, but they came out at different times, our entrees came after our main meals and they forgot an entree all together. After we enquired about the entree, they never returned to inform us of where it is.
The bar was understaffed and they felt no need to make an effort in taking our requests immediately. They preferred to wait at least 10 minutes before tending to us before we could even get a drink.
There were multiple items from our dishes that were missing, such as bread rolls.
