Following 17 years with consulting engineers McIntyre & Associates Pty Ltd, John Rowlands founded Rowlands Surveys in 1981. From six employees, the company has grown to employ 15 full-time staff. One of the strengths of Rowlands Surveys is the company's loyal staff. The majority of the firm's employees were born and bred in Townsville and many have been with Rowlands for more than 20 years.
Rowlands has five survey parties, equipped with 4WD vehicles and modern survey equipment, ready to mobilise for any surveying task. From the pre-design stage through to construction and titling, Rowlands has the local know-how to get the job done. Rowlands Surveys operates under a Quality Management system developed to ensure a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
