From the beginning of Spring ( for us Friday 3 Sept), we will be opening at 10.00am for the Friday - Sunday. At all other times, The Tiers Tea Lounge is open for take-aways and full service on Fridays and the weekends. Hi.thanks for calling by. Welcome to a green Poatina winter - surrounded by green lush fields, delicious mountain water and the occasional bit of snow.

The Tiers Tea Lounge carries a selection of hand made delights for standard and special diets. The latest additions are gourmet pies (Chicken & Mushroom / Chicken Apricot / Steak & Guinness), house-made cherry crumble pies, new moist and delicious apple slices. The Tiers Tea Lounge is located in the picturesque surroundings of the village of Poatina in central Tasmania at the foot of the Western Tiers.

The Tiers Tea Lounge is located in the picturesque surroundings of the village of Poatina in central Tasmania at the foot of the Western Tiers. The Lounge offers a relaxing stop-off on the Heritage Highway with refreshing quality beverages, other delicacies and ambiance that make a journey or a sojourn memorable.
No-Low Waste Report
At The Tiers Tea Lounge, we make every effort within the limitations of health regulations, to where we possibly can, create no waste or keep it to the barest minimum. We've been calling this No to Low Waste (No-Low Waste). This applies to both the food products and the way we use cooking, cleaning and packaging materials.

Adorable café in Poatina village. Very pleasant proprietors, good food and drinks in the cafe which is decorated with numerous teapots and most interesting art work.

Beautiful place for a coffee, or a Turkish Delight hot chocolate. The cakes and slices are home made and lovely. I had sticky ginger slice. That's healthy isn't it??

Fabulous, friendly hosts, magic cakes, coffees, teas and hot chocolate. Wonderful savoury food, including wonderfully different sausage type rolls. You should stop in.

Great coffee.Awesome home baked goods Wonderful hosts. Double espresso had great flavour. Apple Pie to please the taste buds and a great affogato for dessert.
