With over 35 years' experience in the hairdressing industry in London, South Africa and Australia, she has become a highly sought-after session and editorial artist, working with the crme de la crme of fashion designers and TV presenters.
Your consultation includes a shampoo and conditioner with our exclusive Curly Girl approved range specific to your curly hair type of 2a - 4c and finishing off with a hooded drier or Dyson diffuser. 1. 24 hours' cancellation notice is required or a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. 3. We request young children are carefully supervised to prevent disturbance to fellow customers.

From the moment I stepped through the door I was made to feel so welcome. Some people dread going to the dentist, well I dread going to the hair dresses and pretty much avoid it until I absolutely have to! However, having been to Aoki hair, I will be visiting more often! Jenni, Bella and the whole team have created such a warm and friendly environment with lots of smiles and laughter.. even my partner got the five star treatment! 🤩
Bella took the time to sit down and talk about what I was hoping for and instantly put me at ease. She did a fab job and produced curls I didn't even know existed

Where do I start? Like many others, I come from a long line of bad haircuts…though I’ve never had kinky curls, I wouldn’t quite describe my hair as straight as it always had some waves through it. The last time I had it cut was over 2 years ago and the time before that was also two years before that and the reason was that I was too scared to go try a new hairdresser as every single one I tried ended up giving me the same result.
This time, however, I went in with no expectations as I didn’t want to set myself up for disappointment (again) and came out with ACTUAL CURLS! The best part

A wonderful experience!
I visited Aoki Hair for the first time a few weeks ago and left feeling super happy. I'm sure many curlies can relate to having a hairdresser butcher their hair, even after claiming they know curls. After a few bad experiences, I'd become apprehensive about getting my hair cut, so I felt uneasy trusting a new hairdresser. Not to mention, I wanted to 'get the chop' to donate my hair (eek!).
Fortunately, Bella was wonderful - she was professional and listened to my routine, concerns and needs. It didn't take me long to relax. She was also inventive! We had to measure the

After living with dead straight hair all my life, it suddenly went curly at age 40 and I had no idea what to do or how to do it - until I went to Aoki Hair on Saturday!
I was really nervous but the staff were all lovely, the salon was clean, modern and gorgeous, and all of the clients around me had such beautiful looking hair. Bella, who did my cut, was an absolute gem. I walked in there a dishevelled, indecisive mess and she was so patient with me! Aoki Hair was a fantastic and professional experience. Jenni and her staff are exceptionally welcoming and the vibe of the salon was warm and friendly. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and focused on ensuring they achieved the best results for me, which they did! The staff regularly checked in and talked me through styling options, which was so clear and helpful. I absolutely loved this salon and highly recommend.

The first time I visited Aoki hair was in 2019! This week was my second visit as the cut was so perfect back in 2019 it even worked when my hair was the longest it’s ever been!
As a curly girl I often leave a salon with no other choice than to have them try and straighten my hair, I have never left a salon with my hair curly feeling amazing until Aoki!!
