Freda Dunn's Acupuncture and Natural Therapies Clinic has been operating on the Sunshine Coast for 27 years - the last 20 years being at Doonan in Noosa, staffed by Freda and a long-serving dedicated crew of experienced Therapists. We use a variety of modalities including Acupuncture, Naturopathy, Herbals [western], Remedial Massage, Diet and Nutrition.
The Acupuncture includes Remedial Massage, and can include Cupping and Moxibustion. All Acupuncturists now have to be accredited by the Chinese Medical Board of Australia and have been issued with Registration Numbers which have to be displayed to the general Public. All Accredited Members of the Board are covered by Health Funds.

Acupuncture is the ancient Chinese practice of inserting fine needles into specific points on the body along meridians through which the qi (or body's energy) flows. It has been traditionally used for thousands of years for a variety of ailments and will blend in with, Naturopathy, Western Herbs or Medicinal drugs.

Long before we were able to visit the nearest walk-in clinic, our ancestors were using ancient plant remedies for almost every ailment. This "Herbalism, " is now a form of alternative medicine that includes everything from plants, bee products and minerals to certain types of fungus. These practices are now thought to have begun as far back as 60,000 years ago.
All Health Funds cover Freda Dunn and rebates on Acupuncture and can be obtained either through Hicaps or by written Receipt. These Treatments can include Chinese Moxibustion and/or Cupping should your condition need this. An initial consultation is usually required before any treatment can commence.
The products in this range have been formulated and are produced at the Clinic in an effort to provide the best possible range of products for my Clients. I have used the highest quality ingredients I could find, including certified organic herbs whenever they can be sourced. Most of the commercially made products do not contain high quality ingredients.

We are holidaying in Noosa and John was having a lot of uncomfortable pain in his lower back and hip. It was getting worse each day and he couldn’t bend at the waist. I called and made an appointment for him as (I couldn’t handle his pain anymore) I got him in to see Larry Snel the next day. Larry treated John with cupping massage and acupuncture. He showed him some stretching techniques that would help and John came out a new man. He woke up this morning a little sore but 90% better than the previous day. 1 1/2 hour treatment was very reasonable priced and rebated on hicaps. I am recommending

Freda Dunn has been my natural therapies practitioner for over 10 years.
