We believe DANCE is for everyone, regardless of ability or age, on or off the STAGE and versatility as a performer is the KEY to success. What makes us special is our friendly and professional atmosphere. Our team of teachers and staff are here to nurture each students talents and help them to SHINE from the inside out!
Through quality training and gentle encouragement we hope to INSPIRE all who walk through our door and hope they leave feeling proud of themselves. To ENTERTAIN is a gift we give to ourselves. When we challenge ourselves and overcome our insecurities we are then also able to share it with others. Learning to dance and perform teaches us both.

The Stage Key Company was first Established in 2003 by Sue Cunnell and Katherine Friend. It came from a passion to share their love of The Arts and Performance, specifically DANCE and SINGING. Since 2018, Stage Key has been proudly owned and managed by Sue. Stage Key continues to be a place that nurtures this love of movement and music with a desire to promote growth and joy.
All of our teachers are specialised in the particular genre/style they teach and all hold current First Aid Certificates and Working With Children Checks.
Dance has been a joyous and integral part of my life since the age of 5. I began my training at the Yvonne Flett School of Dance, continued with Beverley Smeets and then The Contemporary Dance Centre as a student teacher at their Thornlie branch, performed as a Ruth Osborne Dancer and also choreographed for local shows and corporate functions.
