If you're looking for a quiet camp ground this is not the place.
The facilities are limited but clean and tidy.
The grounds are maintained relatively well. If you are looking for an accurate comparison google up the slums of favela.
There are a number of very interesting characters at this place.
You've got some manic guarding the front entry/exit chasing down cars. When's he's not on his front post you'll find him in the shower block having his daily shave. However, credit to the bloke he never sleeps and protects the entry with his life.
The manager is a grumpy guy and has the people skills

The manager said that I’m too fat to stay and they don’t need “hippos” like me - I do weigh 90kg. I am a woman.
He literally said I’m too unattractive to be allowed to stay at the resort.

Didn't even get to stay yet!!! We had to cancel our trip at the beginning of the year due to a Covid outbreak and thought we would rebook for next year to try support them again. When I phoned to book the price of the accommodation suddenly was way more than advertised. When I asked to speak to the manager, the person hung up on me!!
I wouldn't have even given this a 1 star , but had NO CHOICE!!

Campground is lovely, open grassy spaces. Amenities are old but work well. The lovely lady behind reception is friendly and welcoming, her partner is aggressive and rude. He ruined our stay, won’t be back

This place should be shut down. Would never go back. Staff are awful. Owner clearly hates the world, he should be more grateful for his business because if he didn't have that job, he wouldn't be able to find another one.

Very creepy maintence worker looking in windows and turning power on and off and constantly hanging around watching, unit was gross untidy and didn't even have toilet paper inside. Would of been better in a tent not worth the $85 per night

Worst Camping ever!
DISGUSTING ammenities and unfriendly staff. They raised prices to 112$ (56$ per person/night) for 1 powered site during christmas & nye just because they were the only ones that were not booked out in byron area.
