Services
If you change your mind for any reason, simply return your goods to the store of purchase in showroom condition with proof of purchase within seven days for a no questions asked refund. If you find an item you purchased at a cheaper price in store within seven days of original purchase we will refund the difference.
Membership entitles you to Black Rice pricing saving you 20-50% off most items for two years. Feeling hungry? You will also receive 5% discount at Rice Cafes with your membership. Black Rice membership is at Rice Furniture's discretion and we reserve the right to cease communications without notice and cancel your membership.
After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY or PayPal containing your order details. We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to dispatch your goods via courier or furniture delivery specialists within 3 working days; however if goods are unavailable delivery will take a little longer and we will make contact with you.
Rice Furniture gives you access to the following options: Zip Pay, Zip Money, Afterpay, Humm Little Things, Humm Big Things. Cancellations of a layby will incur a restocking fee of 20% of the total purchase value, which will be deducted from any monies paid. Any balance will be refunded.

If you wish to exchange for another product at the end of the layby term a restocking fee of 20% of the total purchase price will be charged for holding the items.1.5% per week of the total value of the order. If the term is exceeded due to stock not being available due to a shipment delay, the fee will not be charged.
Beware using supermarket polishes and waxes as they can contain high levels of silicon and petroleum distillate which can damage the surface. Put moisture back into your timber furniture every 3 to 6 months using the appropriate product for that surface such as furniture wax. Avoid placing hot or wet items directly on the surface as they can leave marks which are difficult to remove.

The table I ordered is perfect! I have looked long and hard for a live edge table and LOVE my new one. I was a little nervous to put a deposit on an item that was 3 months wait but was well worth it.

The quality of my table is excellent and so is the service I got from Dewi. Well made and looks so beautiful in my new home. I also ordered chairs and will hopefully get them delivered soon.

After purchasing furniture from Claire at Bundall store she has not helped us at all with any after sale service ! We are frustrated that Claire being the store Manager was not interested at all in providing us with any help and was in fact very rude and couldn’t care less that we were sold faulty items of furniture. Claire stated to us that they are not faulty even when showing her photo proof of the furniture with holes in and other staff members within her store and at other stores informing us that YES we are correct as they received a shipment of over 400 items that are faulty. Never ever let your foot in to this shop, Beware ! once you pay , you are not going to get your order or money back.Been waiting for months for an armchair , fully paid including delivery. Staffs were rude and never give you any apology once you contact them, they act as if it is our mistake. Going to go through fair trade for a full refund

Service was good when purchasing a sofa, but that's where it ended, I purchased our sofa from them in Jan 2021 and had ongoing issues with one of the modular pieces. Black rice replaced the defective piece several times with the issues ranging from the fabric being a different colour (on two occasions), to the rear frame being made out of square and constant alignment issues, on one occasion they replaced it with the same piece previously sent back.
The issue eventually reached the owner who's advise was to put some felt under one side to lift the piece (Approximately 25mm) and align the back
