Up until completion of the quotation process everything was really good, I ordered 2 transportable building and hence my 50% deposit was over 19000 dollars. Once I paid this I have struggled to get to talk to anyone at the company. I was originally quoted a production time of 10 weeks. We are now at just over 15 weeks and I am told at least another 6-8 weeks till completion. I tried to cancel 2 weeks ago, but they will not accommodate that.

Still waiting for our shed to be delivered even after being told it was made & ready. Demanded final payment, still no delivery. Rolled our van, written off so tried to cancel shed. Couldn't, we were told it was ready fo be delivered, still no delivery. Won't answer phone calls. NEVER AGAIN & WIN'T RECOMMEND!

We purchased a shed and were told that ‘because of the transportable design’ council approval would not be required. This is not true as the building code requires all sheds with a roof of 10 sq metres and a roof height of more than 2.4 metres to be approved. Make sure you insist on the proper engineer’s paperwork with your shed & that the installer is a registered builder so that you can obtain the necessary Form 15. Very evasive when people just want the truth.

Buyer beware. We bought a shade shed for our second vehicle and had it erected. Happy with the product but salesman assured us we didn't need council approval. However Gympie council insisted on a building approval. Costs for council fees, engineer, plumbing, water management plan etc etc came to approx $3000. I checked with other local councils and they all said the same re obtaining council approval. Check with your local council before you buy any shed. Further to the response from Shade Sheds, the salesman stressed many times that council approval was NOT required because the structure was
