Services
Judy and Gordon Cope-Williams formed the Cope-Williams Arts Foundation in 2006 to share their love of the arts with others, and to help support emerging talented artists in Victoria. The Foundation financially supports Chamber Music Australia, Australia National Academy of Music, Resonance Orchestra, Music in the Central Highlands, Melbourne Opera, Woodend Winter Arts Festival and numerous individual artists with grants and donations.
Since 1990 Cope-Williams has hosted international celebrity chefs, cricket matches, one-off car launches and some of the best performing musicians in the country. With the introduction of the new contemporary art space and a continuing commitment to showcasing the best of local produce, you will always see something new and exciting in Romsey.
Social Cricket in a village green setting is very well established in the verdant hills of Romsey. From October until May, corporate and private groups indulge in the gently active folly of social cricket. Whether playing seriously or purely for pleasure, cricket is a great social sport. When combined with fine Country House cooking and excellent wines, there is little to compare.
Driving in the country just outside of Melbourne, cruising through those sweeping bends with the cool mountain air keeping that engine performing the way it's supposed to. It's how we all picture the perfect club cruising day with a well-earned drink and fulfilling late lunch to round off the final pit stop before home.
Picturesque vineyard and winery wedding packages to suit all budgets can be arranged via our wedding co-ordinator. From small, intimate parties to lavish 200 person open air ceremonies amongst the vines. The dramatic backdrop of the Macedon Ranges couples perfectly with the rustic charm of a traditional country estate.

I first met Gordon when I visited Aus in mid 2005. He made me very welcome and the wines he brought out to taste were amazing! I of course couldn’t help but take a dozen home, of which 1/2 reached the UK… having been stored safely in my suitcase! He also gave me a momento of my visit in the form of a couple of Cope-Williams wine glasses, which are still in use today!

My wife and I find Cope-WIlliams Winery really enjoyable. The town of Romsey is only an hour from Melbourne and seems largely 'undiscovered' so never crowded and easy to get to. The winery is not as commercial (prettied up) as some in Yarra Valley, but with an excellent cellar door. And we're loving the new art gallery onsite.
