Frangipani Fabrics is a community minded fabric shop and Sewing School in North Hobart. We are Tasmania's leading Sewing School and have sewing class nearly every day of the week in our sunny studio - our Sew Anything and Kid's Classes (including Birthday Party Classes) are very popular, and beginners are always welcome (even if you've never sewn a stitch!)
We also teach children and adults with disability to sew through our community-funded Sew Together Program. Our classes are inclusive and friendly. At Frangipani Fabrics we supply sewists with modern, kids, Japanese and indigenous fabrics & beautiful sewing patterns. We love working with wool felt and other natural fibres and sell sewing projects with a difference that we know our customers will enjoy.

Can you imagine how excited your friend will be when you present them with a gift voucher!? They can then spend it on their choice of fabric, patterns, or in store lessons! Gift cards can be delivered by snail mail or email (the latter will contain instructions to redeem at checkout - just enter the unique code).
We had an amazing day meeting old friends and new faces at our third Sew Together Workshop for adults with disability, together with Li-Ve Tasmania. There were so many things we loved about our day. The classroom was filled with so much excitement and chatter as our return students tackled more difficult projects with enthusiasm - this was so encouraging to see!
