The current owners took over the business in 2013. Since then, the park has gone from strength to strength. In addition to offering accommodation for campers and caravan visitors, newly built cabins and cottages provide static accommodation for those who would prefer it. Island View Caravan Park is run by a husband-and-wife team, along with their son and daughter-in-law, and their grandchildren.

This place was the best park we stayed at along the qld coast. Quiet and relaxing right on the beach. It was so well looked after and maintained. Roads were freshly paved and the grass was squishy and green. The pools were gorgeous and the entertaining area was so lovely felt a little bit like Bali. Perfect location just that little bit out of Yeppoon to escape the noise but close enough to walk or a quick drive. Dog friendly too! And the water pressure was amazing (hard to find at caravan parks these days). We will definitely be back again!!!!

Love this park. When the park roads are sealed to stop dust will give 6 🌟. The 4 days we were there there was no wind. The dust is from vehicles (cars & Bicycles) moving on dusty road surface, finer then even crusher dust. What was bad was seeing campers wasting water hosing down road to stop dust chocking them out. Where lots of Australia has a water shortage, here mother nature provides water in abundance it seems.

We've stayed here twice now and each time thoroughly enjoy it! Amenities are well maintained and upgrades are constantly happening. The location is superb being right across from the beach access to Kinka Beach. It's a no wonder why this park is always booked out, definitely recommend booking in advance.
