Services
Our volunteers tell its story of people who lived, broke the law, who feared and who died. It was opened for patients in 1865 and was closed in 1998. Aradale had up to 900 patients yearly and is a large complex with up to 70 interesting historic abandoned buildings. The world-class Gum San Chinese Heritage Centre, tells the stories of those miners and their arduous journey from Southern China to Australia, where they dreamed of finding gold.

Accomodation and premises were exactly as offered in pics online. Excellent value for money. Michael and Stacey are very gracious hosts. The property reflects the dedication they have to operating a great place for travellers.....its a credit to you both! I fell in love with the neighbourhood kitty Jax and enjoyed his company in our room hehe!

Motel room, done right! We booked in advance online, so check-in was a breeze, all done in about 1 minute. The Executive Queen room was compact, but had space in the living area and bathroom. The living area had a comfortable 2-seater lounge, 2 bucket seats at a dining table and a desk with chair. There was a space for one suitcase in the closet.
The queen bed was firm but comfortable, with electric blankets if you like such things. It was laid out old-school style with 2 blankets and a cover, which I much prefer to the current trend of a single thick doona, which gives you no way to regulate
