The Gardens Tearooms is located within the Rockhampton Botanical Gardens, this amazing location means we have more to offer than just great food! We have a Cafe style menu to suit all members of the family in a very child friendly setting. The majority of seating is outdoors under the 150 year old Banyan Fig Trees but we also have indoor seating available.

Our unique out door venue is ideal if your looking for a place to hold your Birthday Party, Baby Shower, Bridle Shower or Engagement Party. There are large areas available, also under the Banyan Fig Trees. We are very flexible with catering and offer High Teas, Devonshire teas, Breakfast or Lunch Menu options.

The staff here are wonderful and friendly but only half as much as the wildlife. Sitting outside you could very well have some winged friends drop by to see if you will share with them.

Good good. Birds can be incredibly invasive. Fun at first but then they become a real problem. Resist the urge to feed.

5 out of 5 for my coffee made by a girl with her nose pierced, sorry forgot to ask your name. I don't review on coffee if it's not good, as I'm fussy with my coffee.
Not expecting that which is why I only ordered a small. But definitely worth grabbing a coffee here if she's working.
They do only put half a shot in a small standard so make sure you ask for double shot if you like a normal strength coffee. But big thumbs up.

Great service, breakfast meals are a good size and not excessively large. Cups of tea were actually hot and not lukewarm like most cafes.

Gardens Tea Rooms are awesome. Staff are friendly and they cater for everyone's needs. Great place to catch up with friends for a cuppa after a Saturday Morning Parkrun and Mobility Session

We had such a delicious coffee here and the staff were absolutely lovely with lots of information about the local zoo. Quaint gardens. Only suggestion would be to regularly keep an eye on the rubbish and food on the ground as the birds (bin chickens) were going nuts!
