Proprietor of The Village Dry Cleaners, David Ellis, is passionate about his work, with over 15years experience teaching Dry Cleaning, Laundry and Textiles David undertook Textile Technology at the Strathfiled School of Textiles followed later by both the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Certficates.
With a thorough knowledge of textiles and dry cleaning operations David, together with his wife Diane, took the opportunity in 2000 to purchase the St Mary's location of the Village Dry Cleaners.Eighteen months in 2002 they established the Penrith shop at the old Jet 60 location on Castlereagh St which had been closed for eighteen months.
