We have many years of experience in charter fishing in Westernport Bay in Melbourne and Bass Strait, Westernport Fishing Charters take you on a fishing experience like no other! You can enjoy a great days fishing onboard a well maintained 50ft (15 Meter) Vessel flying fish 2 and 38ft (12 meter) vessel sidewinder.

A brilliant morning trip with Westernport Fishing Charters. All the crew were extremely professional and found the best spot even when 20 other boats were on the water! Everyone managed to catch plenty and we very much enjoyed our fish & chips for dinner. Fantastic day! Spent a great Sunday morning on Flying Fish II - all the crew were friendly and helpful, there was more than enough lunch to go round and plenty of fish was caught!

To Westernport Fishing Charters,
Thanks so much to Rob & Brendan for our trip out on Thursday with the Lane crew. All 10 of us had a fantastic time and a great New Years feast was held yesterday.
Thanks again guys and I will spread the word about how great an experience we all had.
Regards
Joey Lane & Gang.

Wasn't a good day for fishing not the fault of anyone but enjoyable and relaxing half day on the water nice bbq. Can't ask for much more bbq, beer and wetting a line. Probably would do homework on best times to fish but its luck of the draw i suppose. Boat was nice and comfortable it moved along quickly enough plenty of room and toliets worked. Probably a bit more bait would probably bring my own next time.

Went out with them thr other day.
Clean the boat! Everything was filthy grotty. No dunny paper, filthy cups and BBQ. Old out of date milk in the fridge. No had wash at all. They cook for you with hands that they just handled bait with.
The staff wherent interested in it. They presentation had a lot to say how much they cared. They had there good tracksuit pants on. You know, the ones where the cuffs are worn through from walking on them, and dont think they had washed them for a few weeks.
Then there was the way they handled the fish. When we did catch something they would throw it back before

4 hours of fishing should be that. Not 2 hours driving around aimlessly. Drove for 45 minutes to land on a patch of toadies. Crap spot, 1 stayed there for way too long. A few very small flatties (mainly caught by the deckhand) and loads of toad fish. There was little concern shown to the fact that no was catching any fish after awhile. Eventually a second move was made to another unproductive spot. Followed by another where we finally had to have lunch so even thought nobody was catching anything we had to stay there. Finally moved to our forth unproductive spot for 10 minutes and then we we had

A group of friends and I booked a charter with these guys this weekend just gone.
We were charged $130 each = $650 in total for our group of 5 of us. There were 10 or so other people on the same boat. So a few thousand $$$ for these guys to take us out fishing.
For $130 you supposedly get breakfast and lunch, as well as rods, bait and tackle included. Sounds like a good deal. Until you get on the boat.
There was no toilet paper on the boat - this is an EIGHT HOUR charter.
There was no hand towels, sanitiser or any facilities to wash your hands - essential I would have thought if you are going
