SW environmental focuses on providing quality services and deliverables - on time and within budget. Our Managing Director has over 15 years continuous experience in providing environmental services across a range of sectors. He has operated in the southwest of WA since 2006. Since that time he has continued to work on projects throughout WA, NSW and QLD.

In addition to providing direct services, SW environmental can lead multidisciplinary teams of experienced specialist associates and sub-consultants.
Services
SW Environmental provides environmental services. We have an excellent track record in successfully delivering environmental impact assessment, environmental management, biodiversity survey and GIS mapping services. Based in the southwest we work on projects throughout the country. We service various sectors for diverse projects, from local urban expansion, natural resource management, to major infrastructure development and everything between.
Environmental impact assessment is a formal process used to predict the positive or negative environmental consequences of a project prior to the decision to implement it. It also proposes measures to minimise or mitigate impacts to acceptable levels. Environmental impact assessments aim to protect the environment by providing a basis for effective and sustainable development.
We take pride in our commitment to our service delivery, which is underpinned by our integrated management system (IMS). To ensure that the personnel associated with SW Environmental are not adversely affected by WHS issues; and that all workplace risks are identified and appropriate measures to remove or reduce risk are implemented.
Environmental referrals (State and Federal) for the circa 660km State Barrier Fence (Esperance) Extension (2016). On behalf of Great Southern Bio Logic, SW environmental prepared the environmental approvals documentation (EPBC and EPA referrals) for the project. SW environmental completed, with a contract zoologist, an intensive Level 2 fauna survey of the spectacular 11.5 kilometre long (~575 ha) Meelup Regional Park.
Main Roads (South West Region) has engaged Shane Priddle of SW environmental on several occasions over the past four years to undertake environmental assessments and fauna surveys as well as arrange for additional surveys by other consultants to supplement the assessment reports. We have found that Shane communicates well, making appropriate inquiries to clarify issues, is helpfully suggestive and is responsive to feedback.
