Highly recommended.
I chartered out the boat for myself and had an awesome time. Shawry was fantastic, really knows his fishing, top bloke & also knows the best spots.
Caught a huge lizard (flatty), a few various species & even hooked & had a good fight with a massive spotted shovelnose ray shark . . . BTW the shark won the fight.
Anyway, couldn't have been happier & will do again next time in Port.

Another excellent charter out with Shawry who knows his sh*t, where the fish and crabs hide and where the reef lines and best creeks banks are.

We had a great day fishing and crabbing with Shawry. He has so much knowledge and helped my 11 year old bring up a good size cod, he loved it! A few trevally and mud crabs topped off the day. Absolutely the best fishing experience my husband and I have ever had. Shawrey is so experienced, he is a top bloke and so knowledgeable, he puts you on a patch, no bites he moves on. We had a perfect day, we… caught crabs, mackerel, sweet lip, red emperor, coral trout and hooked a couple of sharks, thank god they let go. I highly recommend Hook up. Thank you for a top day…

Four of us went out with glen on Tuesday . We had a great time! We aren’t very experienced but glen was very patient with us and did his best to ensure we all caught a few fish each . We moved when we weren’t getting bites and I appreciated all his efforts. He is a lovely guy. Book with glen and you won’t be disappointed 😊🐠🎣🦀🦀

Shawry is an absolute legend, not just knowledgeable but great company for many hours on the water. Got us onto some species we really wanted to target while we were up here. My wife and I just finished a charter today and are trying to book another before we leave Port Douglas.
Would highly recommend for anyone starting from beginners to experienced fishos. His local knowledge is second to none and will put you in the best position to catch a fish.
My only complaint is that she caught a bigger mangrove jack!

Went out today and cannot rate this charter highly enough. I am a keen fisher and do a lot of fishing by myself in Melbourne. Shawry knew his stuff and gave a personal experience that catered to what I was after. We caught some amazing fish. Got to see a heap of turtles and even took us off to see a croc. Would love to have gone for a full day but after Shawry has been working for months and months without a day off he could not have put more effort in to make the experience the best I have had on a fishing charter and I have been on hundreds.
